It was really loving seeing papa guiding Sean making his very first wooden stool. It was nothing expensive. It was the patience...it was The Gift of LOVE!
Standing quietly at a corner, I took out my old camera.. snapping, snapping and snapping... capturing all those sweet moments...
....this is because I am sensing the love., papa's true love.
125g softened, unsalted butter
225g caster sugar
225g self raising four (shifted)
1 grated zest of lemon
1/2 tsp salt
- Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add milk, mix well.
- Add flour, together with baking powder, salt. Beat until incorporated.
- Mix in zest. Pour into greased 4 x 8 and bake for 60mins at 177 Celsius.
for the glaze
60-80g caster sugar (adjust to your liking)
Juice of 1 lemon
- Melt mixture of glaze.
- Spoon glaze over loaf before removing from pan.
