"The annual Perseid meteor shower peaks on the morning of August 12th. The last-quarter moon will interfere with visibility of most fainter Perseid meteors this year, but you'll still be able to see a few brighter ones, including the occasional "fireball." The best time to look is in the pre-dawn hours on Aug 12....
The Perseid meteors come from a comet called Swift-Tuttle, which orbits the Sun every 133 years."

On the morning of 13 August 20, we took an adventure for pre-dawn meteors hunting at Lake Wivenhoe.
We were most certainly lucky! We saw more than 6 shooting stars (including 2 'fireballs') even in the bright light of the moon.
Just before dawn, I made a long wish, not forgetting to say 'thank you'. Within minutes, we were granted with the most spectacular shooting star of the day! It was so amazing! I guess... my wish will come true!
Wivenhoe Lake was especially calm and peaceful on the foggy morning of 13 August. See you again.
